The orchestra conductor places the score on the music stand, the lights go out, and with a precise movement of her hand, the music begins.
This is what happens every Sunday for the past four years.
In this case, it’s a sharp, multi-colored choir of writers from around the world, who join our voices under the masterful baton of our editor and conductor, Luli Delgado.
Yes, this place of encounter, Atril, celebrates its fourth anniversary this Sunday.
Four years of impeccable behind-the-scenes work by Luli and her team, to offer the public not only a variety of quality and interesting articles, but also an aesthetic experience in the images that illustrate each article.
It’s a small joy for my soul, a celebration, when Atril is activated every weekend and I count myself, excuse the redundancy, among the as its slogan says “gente que cuenta.”
I want to dedicate these lines to thank Atril for this little window where each week they allow me to share what I call my impulsive meditations, and also to congratulate my fellow “choir members,” who each week give us what I call an oasis of good reading.
To Luli, my admiration for her persistence in the pursuit of excellence over the past four years, and of course, to our readers, who welcome us generously, maybe with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine every weekend.
Let the applause erupt.
Congratulations, Atril!

Today she shares her “impulsive meditations” from Calgary, Canada, where she lives.
